


ArmInfo. Russian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Mikhail Yevdokimov has been summoned to the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry. According to the statement, the ambassador was summoned due to statements made in the Russian media.
The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry stated that the Russian side was summoned to protest what it described as recent "provocative, insulting and threatening" statements targeting the country, its people, and leadership in the Russian media and information space.
"During the meeting, our expectation to take urgent and effective measures to end the provocations, threats, and violent rhetoric against Azerbaijan in the information and media space was once again conveyed to the Russian side ," the statement reads.
It is worth noting that Azerbaijan had previously announced a wanted list for three Russian journalists Ivan Knyazev, Semyon Uralov, and Alexei Chadayev. They were accused of publicly calling for terrorism, violent change of the constitutional order, and violating the country's territorial integrity.
