Moscow: NATO seeking to "Pull" Armenia away from CSTO Allies

ArmInfo.NATO is seeking to "pull" Armenia away from its CSTO allies, as stated by Russian Permanent Representative to the CSTO, Viktor Vasilyev.

"We note the desire of NATO countries and individual Western states  to "pull" Armenia away from its CSTO allies, including through joint  exercises," Vasilyev said in an interview with RIA Novosti. He noted  the current Armenian leadership's foreign policy approach fails to  serve the country's long-term security and sovereignty. " "Those who  study the region's history, including through centuries of  retrospect, will likely find many facts proving that the fate of the  Armenian people was far from easy and, at times, bloody," Vasilyev  said. "The answer to the question of who exactly was the main  guarantor of its security and prosperity throughout its long history  is clear and obvious."
