Narek Karapetyan: Law enforcement  found nothing during search of my  home

ArmInfo.Armenian law enforcement officers did not confiscate anything during a search of the private residence of Narek Karapetyan, a member of the political  council of the "Strong Armenia" bloc and a deputy of the  9th-convocation parliament.

Karapetyan made this statement to journalists on July 31 while commenting on the search conducted at his home earlier that morning.

According to him, this is not the first time such an operation has  occurred. "Apparently, they were trying to find something that might  interest them. Every time it's the same thing. Considering that a  preliminary investigation into the criminal case is currently  underway and certain restrictions are in effect, I cannot say  anything more for now. I can only note that law enforcement officers  took nothing with them after the search," Karapetyan stated.

He tied the incident directly to his political activities. "All these  actions are aimed at hindering our political activities in  parliament. That is the entire reason behind what is happening," the  political council member concluded.

Recall, on July 22, the Prosecutor General's Office of Armenia  initiated a criminal case against Narek Karapetyan on charges of  coercion to participate in meetings and money laundering. On the  morning of July 31, it was reported that law enforcement officers had  conducted a search of his private residence.
