ArmInfo. The National Philharmonic Orchestra of Armenia (NPOA), led by Artistic Director and Principal Conductor Eduard Topchyan, along with world-renowned violinist and preeminent contemporary musician Sergey Khachatryan, is set to perform in the Syunik Province.
The concerts will take place from July 29 to 30 in Meghri, Kapan, and Goris, with the support of the Zangezur Copper-Molybdenum Combine and the Agarak Copper-Molybdenum Combine. This tour will serve as a prominent cultural milestone for the Syunik region, offering local residents the opportunity to experience world-class performances and classical masterpieces delivered by one of Armenia's premier musical ensembles.
Ruzanna Grigoryan, an official representative of Neo Metals company, noted that the enterprise is always ready to support significant cultural initiatives. According to her, the Combine consistently implements projects featuring internationally acclaimed cultural figures because it values drawing the attention of prominent artists to Armenia.
"Today, more than ever, our country needs support, unity, and consolidation. That's why this project is especially important to us. It features our compatriot, world-renowned violinist Sergey Khachatryan, who has conquered the world's finest concert stages with his art, yet has never lost touch with his homeland and consistently devoted his attention to it. This project unites people because music is a universal language understood by everyone. It's a language in which people hear and understand each other," Grigoryan said.
