


ArmInfo.Tigran Mkrtchyan, the Ambassador of Armenia to Greece, met with Lysandros Tsilidis, President of the Federation of Hellenic Association of Travel and Tourism Agencies (FedHATTA), to discuss the potential for developing cooperation in tourism and fostering bilateral tourist flows between the two countries.
According to the press service of the Embassy of Armenia in Greece, the parties exchanged views on balancing tourist traffic between Armenia and Greece and establishing direct links between tour operators in both countries.
Lysandros Tsilidis welcomed the Armenian side's initiative and proposed first establishing an institutional framework for cooperation by signing a memorandum of understanding between the relevant professional bodies, organizing online B2B meetings, and exploring the possibility of Armenia's continued participation in the Philoxenia International Tourism Fair, which will be held in Thessaloniki and in which Armenia is participating. The parties agreed to continue cooperation with the aim of implementing joint initiatives aimed at developing bilateral tourism.
