Armenian U16 basketball player named MVP of European Championship

ArmInfo.Armenian U16 basketball player Anthony Sarkesian has been named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the U16 European Championship, Division C, held in Yerevan.

According to a press release from the Basketball Federation of  Armenia, Sarkesian averaged 21.0 points, 14.8 rebounds, 2.5 assists,  and a 36.0 efficiency rating (EFF) during the tournament, making a  significant contribution to Armenia's undefeated run at the  championship.

Sarkesian was also named to the tournament's All-Star Five,  confirming his status as one of the tournament's most outstanding  players.
