ArmInfo. Employees of various enterprises owned by "Prosperous Armenia" party leader Gagik Tsarukyan are staging protests, demanding the reopening of their workplaces and access to their jobs following closure orders issued by investigative bodies.
According to Arman Piroyan, Director of the Multi Wellness fitness center, the situation is becoming increasingly precarious because the facility's internal systems remain active while staff are barred from working. "The situation inside is very dangerous; the pools are operating, and the heating is on, which is a major concern. Even after we are eventually allowed to reopen, we do not know how we will resolve these operational issues," Piroyan said. He added that he had filed a petition with the Investigative Committee regarding the matter but has yet to receive a response.
A similar protest is taking place at the "Euromotors" car dealership. In an interview with Kentron TV, Abraham Danagezyan, Director of the company's Armenian branch, noted that the company's international branches in Abu Dhabi have expressed their solidarity with the Tsarukyan family.
Danagezyan reported that the office was subjected to searches, during which 3 servers, 19 computers, various laptops, and the personal mobile phones of staff members were seized. Consequently, the company's operations have been paralyzed; they are currently unable to place new orders, purchase vehicles, or deliver purchased equipment to new owners. He noted that 20 vehicles that have already been ordered are currently stranded in Germany.
