ArmInfo. Samvel Karapetyan's "Strong Armenia" bloc announced that it has decided to involve individuals included on the political party's electoral list, but who did not receive a parliamentary mandate following the elections, in party-building efforts.
"Those party members who were included on the electoral list and did not pass the threshold will, following a decision made by the team, be able to utilize their potential in party-building efforts. In this way, the bloc also protects its members who did not pass the threshold, mitigating the risk of potential pressure on them from the new government," the "Strong Armenia" statement reads.
As a reminder, following the parliamentary elections, the bloc received 29 seats in the new parliament. Yesterday, it became known that 106 individuals included in the "Strong Armenia" electoral list submitted a statement of self-withdrawal to the Central Election Commission of Armenia.
