Kyiv Bridge to be reopened for traffic ahead of schedule

ArmInfo. The Kyiv Bridge will open to traffic ahead of schedule.  This was announced in an official statement by the Yerevan Municipality.

Specifically, as noted, the bridge will open to traffic on August 15  instead of the previously scheduled August 29, and the complete  overhaul will be completed by the end of the year.

Currently, work is underway to restore the roadway and pedestrian  areas, replace expansion joints and drainage systems, and waterproof  the bridge. Additionally, plans include upgrading the bridge  railings, rebuilding the superstructures and supports, and completely  relocating the outdoor lighting cables underground.
