
ArmInfo. As part of his working visit to Lebanon, Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan met with Antoine Choucair, Director General of the Lebanese Presidential Administration.
According to the press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry, during the meeting, Antoine Choucair thanked the Armenian government for its continued support to Lebanon, including the provision of humanitarian aid.
Praising the friendly relations between the two countries, Kostanyan reaffirmed Armenia's commitment to continuing to support friendly Lebanon, helping to alleviate the current humanitarian situation in the country. The interlocutors discussed the development of cooperation between the offices of the Armenian and Lebanese presidents, emphasizing the importance of institutionally strengthening this cooperation and establishing the necessary legal and contractual frameworks.
The previous day, Kostanyan, who was on a working visit to Beirut, was received by Lebanese Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Youssef Raji.
At the meeting, the Armenian diplomat reaffirmed the Armenian government's readiness to continue supporting Lebanon, including in addressing humanitarian issues.
During the meeting, the interlocutors discussed intensifying political dialogue between the two countries, cooperation between the foreign ministries, and prospects for further collaboration in international organizations and multilateral platforms.
Developments in the South Caucasus and the Middle East were also discussed. In this context, the importance of continuing discussions between the two countries at the highest level was emphasized.
