


ArmInfo. The construction of the Kars-Igd?r-Aralyk-Dilucu railway will strengthen rail connections between Turkey, Armenia, and Azerbaijan, enhancing regional transport connectivity. This was announced by Turkish Transport and Infrastructure Minister Abdulkadir Uraloglu, Yeni Safak reports.
He announced plans to build an alternative railway line across the Bosphorus via the Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge, noting that construction work on the project is expected to begin this year.
Uraloglu noted that railways have been a state priority since 2002. During this period, the length of the railway network increased from approximately 11,000 kilometers to almost 14,009 kilometers, including 2,251 kilometers of high-speed train lines.
