


ArmInfo. The National Assembly of Armenia of the 8th convocation has concluded its work.
At the close of the extraordinary session on July 3, deputies from the ruling faction thanked each other for their joint work. Particularly many words of gratitude were addressed to National Assembly Speaker Alen Simonyan, who is leaving his post because he does not intend to take a parliamentary mandate in the 9th convocation. Words of gratitude were also addressed to current Vice Speaker Hakob Arshakyan, who did not run for the next convocation of the National Assembly. At the same time, the parliamentarians congratulated their colleagues Ruben Rubinyan, Hayk Konjoryan, and Vahagn Aleksanyan, who will occupy the Speaker and Vice Speaker positions in the new parliament.
At the end, the National Assembly members from the ruling Civil Contract faction posed for a commemorative photo.
With this, the 8th parliament concluded its work.
