


ArmInfo. The Anti‑Corruption Court of Armenia, presided over by Judge Sargis Dadoyan, changed the preventive measure for the legendary Artsakh scout, head of the "Strong Armenia" security team, Artur Avanesyan (Kandaz), to house arrest.
The decision was made at the session on June 25. The Armenian court also applied a signed undertaking not to leave (travel restriction) in his case. Recall that on April 27 the Anti‑Corruption Committee announced that the legendary Artsakh scout, recipient of the Order of the "Combat Cross," second degree, Artur Avanesyan (Kandaz), and several others had been detained in connection with a case concerning electoral bribes. According to the released statement, the case was opened based on wiretapping of Avanesyan.
On April 28, lawyer Aram Vardevanyan reported that Artur Avanesyan (Kandaz) had been arrested for two months by decision of the Anti‑Corruption Court.
