Artsakh model and 2022 Mrs. Europe vice-president Vera Safaryan dies  in traffic accident

ArmInfo.Vera Safaryan, a model from Hadrut who represented Armenia in the "Mrs. Europe 2022" beauty pageant for married women and mothers, has died in a traffic accident.

According to Artsakh news channels, Safaryan remained in a coma for  nine days after the accident, and doctors fought to the very end to  save her life. "However, despite the doctors' efforts, Vera Safaryan  passed away," the report stated.

As a reminder, Vera Safaryan placed second at the international  beauty pageant held in Bulgaria on October 14, 2022, becoming  Vice-Mrs. Europe. This isn't the Artsakh model's only achievement. In  2020, Safaryan served in the army and defended Hadrut during the  44-day Artsakh War. She is the daughter of Artush Safaryan, a hero of  the First Artsakh War.
