ArmInfo. The US-Iranian memorandum, signed on June 17, is more beneficial for Iran from a political and economic perspective. This was stated by Turkologist, professor, and former director of the Institute of Oriental Studies of the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia Ruben Safrastyan.
"The text of the Iranian-American memorandum was published a few hours ago. First impression: from a tactical standpoint, it is beneficial for both sides, but from a political and economic standpoint, it is more beneficial for Iran. And most importantly: the nuclear issue has not been resolved, but has been transferred to the arena of further negotiations," Safrastyan wrote on his Facebook page.
According to media reports, Iran and the United States signed a preliminary peace agreement on June 17.
