Samvel Karapetyan: Pashinyan`s continued rule, even for next 20 days,  poses threat to Armenia

ArmInfo. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's continued rule, even for the next 20 days, poses a threat to the country, as the enemy sees the psychological instability of the interim leader of the Armenian state. This was  stated by Samvel Karapetyan, leader of the Strong Armenia party, in  response to the Armenian prime minister's inappropriate behavior  during the election campaign in Yerevan's Arabkir district toward  Yerevan residents who dared to express dissatisfaction with  Pashinyan's policies.

"This is a shameful and disgraceful day for our people. Prime  Minister Nikol Pashinyan has demonstrated inappropriate behavior  toward the country's citizens. The man who once said that there are 3  million prime ministers in our country has lost his composure and  sense of reality," the leader of the Strong Armenia party stated in a  video message on his Facebook page.

Karapetyan recalled that on May 18, instead of presenting his  political party's election platform, Pashinyan resorted to physical  violence and assaulted the sister of a soldier who went missing  during the 44-day war in 2020. "Surrounded by bodyguards, Pashinyan  also insulted the young man.

Pashinyan's continued rule, even for the next 20 days, poses a threat  to our country, as our enemies see the psychological instability of  our interim leader. Pashinyan is disgracing not only our state, but  also Armenians, the Armenian people, and the image of the Armenian  man. We will not allow this. On June 7 (parliamentary elections in  Armenia - ed.), our people will put an end to this national  disgrace," Karapetyan concluded.

As a reminder, on May 18, in Yerevan's Arabkir district, an argument  erupted between Artur Osipyan, head of the Artsakh Revolutionary  Party, and the Armenian prime minister. Osipyan accused Pashinyan of  using corruption to help Arayik Harutyunyan get elected president of  Artsakh. Furthermore, he noted that it was Pashinyan who dissolved  the OSCE Minsk Group on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, and now the  Azerbaijani authorities are promoting an agenda of settling  Azerbaijanis in Armenia. These words infuriated Pashinyan, who began  shouting, "Get out of here, you big guy," and "Let the Karabakh  pseudo- elites get out of here."

"You should have died instead of our sons, Artur Osipyans!  Plunderers, brutes! You should have died!  Why are you alive, you  brute, and even talking about 5,000 dead? Get lost, you big guy! You  should have let them pluck your feathers now." Osipyan was  subsequently detained and taken to the Arabkir police station, and on  May 19, he was transferred to a pretrial detention center. He is  charged with hooliganism.

That same day, during the election campaign, the prime minister lost  his temper when Arpine Soghoyan, the sister of Hrant Papikyan, a  soldier missing in action in the 44-day war of 2020, declared that  "it was Pashinyan who destroyed the country and that he is an enemy  of the people." The Armenian prime minister then began yelling at the  woman, and when she tried to leave, he pulled her by the arm, pulled  her back into the crowd, and continued yelling.
