ArmInfo.The Court of General Jurisdiction for the Avan and Nor Nork administrative districts has granted a motion from the Investigative Committee to  place Gagik Tsarukyan, leader of the Prosperous Armenia Party, in pretrial detention for a period of two months.

ArmInfo.The opposition party "Strong Armenia" views the acquisition of  winning seats in the 9th National Assembly as the shortest route toward challenging the government of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. Party leader Samvel Karapetyan made this statement in a conversation with journalists on July 7.

ArmInfo. Vaclav Havel Prize nominee Ruben Vardanyan is suffering in Azerbaijani prison.  The Czech newspaper Idnes.cz has highlighted  Ruben Vardanyan's  nomination for the 2026 Vaclav Havel Prize bringing renewed attention to his imprisonment and the ongoing detention of other Armenian  prisoners of war in Baku.  

ArmInfo. As a result of actions taken by the Prosecutor's Office in the second quarter of 2026, over 30 million drams in damages were recovered from companies involved in the illegal exploitation of subsoil in the Ararat Region.

ArmInfo.The memorandum of understanding signed by the Ministers of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia and the UAE on the recognition of national  driver's licenses of the two countries has entered into force, as reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia.
