ArmInfo. A critical Israeli parliamentary vote on recognizing the violence against Armenians by the Ottoman Empire during World War I as a genocide has  been suspended, as reported by JNS, citing an Israeli official familiar with the situation.

ArmInfo.  On the instruction of Human Rights Defender Anahit Manasyan, staff from her  office visited the Abovyan Penitentiary of the Ministry of Justice,  where they held meetings with several individuals, including Aregnaz  Manukyan, a member of the 8th convocation of National Assembly of  Armenia and a board member of the "Mother Armenia" party.

ArmInfo.  Arpine Soghoyan, an obstetrician-gynecologist who entered into a verbal conflict with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during the election campaign, has been dismissed from her position. Her daughter, lawyer Tatevik Sogoyan, shared this information on her Facebook page.

ArmInfo. Employees of the sealed enterprises owned by Gagik Tsarukyan, a well-known philanthropist, entrepreneur, and leader of the "Prosperous Armenia" party, are holding protest actions, demanding the resumption of  operations and the protection of their right to work.

ArmInfo.  On July 9, during a meeting with ambassadors of Francophone countries accredited to Brussels, Armenia's Ambassador Tigran Balayan held a bilateral meeting with Belgium's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Maxime Prevot.

ArmInfo. Narek Karapetyan, a member of the political council of Samvel Kvarapetyan's "Strong Armenia" bloc, responded to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev's statements that an anti-Azerbaijani group operated within the  European Commission.

ArmInfo.  The European Union (EU) will approve the creation of a mission for Armenia to combat so-called hybrid threats. EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas announced this upon her arrival at a meeting of EU foreign ministers.

ArmInfo.  The Investigative Committee received instructions to "fabricate" a case against Mother Armenia party board member Aregnaz Manukyan and has carried out the order. This was stated in a statement by Mother Armenia party leader Andranik Tevanyan, who is incarcerated at the Yerevan-Kentron  Penitentiary, published on the party's Facebook page.

ArmInfo.  Azerbaijan seriously discussed not only suspending its activities in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe but also withdrawing from the Council of Europe altogether. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev  announced this at the opening of a global media forum in occupied  Shushi.

ArmInfo.  David Khazhakyan will be replaced as Deputy Chairman of the Lusavor Hayastan Board of Directors by Gevorg Gorgisyan. This was announced in the party's official Facebook post.

ArmInfo. The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov met with Steve Daines, United States Senator from the State of Montana, a member of the U.S. Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources.
